Every sign job is custom. Quoting it shouldn't take a week.
A sign configurator lets your buyers build their sign online — type, dimensions, face, illumination, mounting — and see it rendered live before they commit. Your shop receives a complete, buildable spec instead of a napkin sketch and a six-email thread.
The signage quoting loop
A buyer wants channel letters. They email a logo and a rough size. Your estimator asks about cabinet depth, face type, lighting. The buyer doesn't know what halo-lit means. Three days and six emails later you send a quote — and the buyer asks for a different size, starting the loop again.
The irony: sign buyers are the most visual buyers in B2B. They need to see it before they commit — and the quoting process gives them nothing to look at until the proof stage, after they've already ordered.
Every decision, in order, with a live preview
Product type
Channel letters, cabinet signs, monument signs, dimensional letters — each with its own rules, options, and price logic.
Dimensions & depth
Letter height, cabinet depth, overall footprint — with manufacturing limits enforced live, so impossible specs never reach your shop.
Face & trim
Face type, trimless vs. trim cap, returns, materials — rendered as the buyer selects.
Illumination
Front-lit, halo-lit, non-illuminated — with the electrical and mounting implications handled by the rules engine.
Mounting & install
Raceway vs. flush mount, wall type, install notes — captured in the spec instead of discovered on site.
The output
A visual of the exact sign plus a complete spec: dimensions, materials, illumination, mounting. Ready to quote, ready to permit.
What arrives in your inbox
“Pylon sign, 3m, double-sided, LED-illuminated cabinet, ground-mounted, RAL 7016 frame”
Complete. Buildable. With a visual the buyer already approved — because they built it themselves.
The craft is proven — signage is next
We built the first full online configurator in the access control industry: 100+ variations, live preview at every step, best-performing product line at launch. Try the live demo. Signage has the same shape of problem — custom every time, visual by nature, quoted over email. Your sign line is a 4–5 week build, and the first working concept of it is free.
Questions, answered
Can buyers see their sign with their own text and font?
Yes — buyers type their text, pick from your approved fonts and colors, and watch the sign render live. Visualization is what sells custom signage: people commit when they can see it.
Can it handle illumination options?
Front-lit, halo-lit, non-illuminated, and whatever else your shop builds — each with its electrical, depth, and mounting rules built in, so a buyer can't spec halo-lit letters at a depth that can't fit the LEDs.
Can it price by size?
Yes — per-letter, per-square-foot, tiered by height, or your own formula. Pricing can be public, shown as a budget estimate, dealer-only, or hidden entirely with quotes going through your team.
Our buyers aren't technical. Can they really use it?
That's the point. Sign buyers are business owners and facility managers, not sign experts. Guided steps with a live preview mean they make every decision correctly without knowing the vocabulary — the tool translates it into your shop's terms.
What about revisions after the order?
Far fewer of them. Most revision loops start because the buyer couldn't picture what they ordered. When they configured and saw the exact sign themselves, the approval conversation gets dramatically shorter.
